Ghostbusters on TBS

There are a million ways that cable TV really sucks, but I there is just something nice about flipping channels at 10pm looking for something to help your mind settle down after the day and finding something like Ghostbusters on TV. It is just like a little gift from the Bill Murray Gods. Now if tomorrow night Stripes is on with What about Bob; Caddy Shack, and maybe Rushmore for a change of pace rounding out the week. I’ll be trying to pull the gold up off the streets.

“I’m trying to pull the gold up off the streets.” -I’ve never heard that term, but it sounds quite theological. Could you elaborate?

I made a typo in this before, but I have fixed it to read I’d be pulling up the gold on the streets. I said this because a Bill Murray marathon could only happen in Heaven, and if this is heaven it ain’t all it’s cracked up to be so I am going to at least cash in on the gold streets.

WOW! I had your analogy figured out, and I was with you until the part about it aint all it’s cracked up to be. I never would’ve figured that out.

Interesting. I’m with Andrew….that’s not at all where I thought that analogy was going.
