Ever notice how “GO!” seems to be a major theme of the Bible. All through the Bible God shows up and tells people to stop what they are doing and go somewhere else. Go to a land where I will show you…Go talk to the Ninevites…Go save my people…Go tell the king he is wrong…Go to the street called straight…Go to the home of Cornelius…Go into all the world.

Over and over again we see God telling people to Go. So why does it seems like most Christians choose to stay?

I am one of those christians who battles with the command… GO. I have so many ideas that would help my church grow tremendously, but my church is very small and there are not many youth advocates that would help bring my ideas to fruition. So, I choose to stay where I am due to the lack of help and motivaiton within my church. I am just stuck between a rock and a hard place and I don’t know what to do.

Think of your ministry like that of Jesus. He had crowds who followed him, but the major part of his ministry was to the 12. Within that 12 he had 3 people who he gave special attention.

Find a couple of youth, (or even one youth) and maybe an adult who cares and pour your ministry into them. Teach them your vision. Teach them about missions and God’s passion for the nations. Let them see your life and your passion.

You can make a difference in the lives of the few and then those few can change the world. Your "GO" may be to teach these few people about their call to GO.

Of course with that said, someone once told me, "There are lots of people who can work in the local church, but only a few are called to go to other countries. So if that is your calling, stop hogging someone else’s ministry and just GO!"
