It is 12:49…

…I have a snotty nose and prayer breakfast at 7:00 in the morning. On top of that I have nothing done for my Wednesday night lesson.

BUT

I have finished my first session for LifeWay. I feel very good right now, even though I think my head will explode soon.

Somebody should get their priorities straight.

BTW, I cant believe you feel good about having your LifeWay stuff done but not your Wednesday night lesson.

  3. I do pray that the above poster is joking. I too understand the demands of several "jobs" on your plate, and can understand how it would be possible to not have your wednesday night stuff done. As neither do I!

But I have stuff done for my other two ministry assigments… BCM and Association work.

#1) Mucinex. Get some. Take it. It’s awesome. If you have a cough, grab some Delsym too. They both work miracles.

#2) You should delete anonymous comments. They aren’t helpful.

I am assuming it is a joke as well.

LifeWay deadline today, Wednesday night deadline tomorrow night. Sound like I did have my priorities right.

And just for the record I am only 1 day behind my normal schedule for Wednesday night.

    Here is my normal schedule:

Thursday: Make sure I have a topic (check)
    Friday: Nothing
Saturday: Do big stuff that might need to be done (like those journals would normally be a Saturday thing)
Sunday: Just let the ideas percolate
Monday: Sit down and write the bones of the talk
Tuesday: Gather material, make student sheets, write final copy of notes
Wednesday: Don’t even think about it until time to start

That is my normal schedule, or should I say my preferred schedule. Normally it is the way it is this week with the bulk of the lesson written on Tuesday and the notes and the student sheets done on Wednesday.

I’m not really trying to defend myself. I just thought some other youth pastor out there would like to know what my schedule is like.
