I am currently watching female fencing online. The number 1 fencer in the saber is from China, but she is currently getting beat by some woman from Russia. It is wild to watch a sport that you so rarely get to see. It is very, very fast. I have no clue what is going on; I just wait for the cool little head lights to flash. There are no commentators so I am sort of making my own assumptions about the rules. I think you score a point by wiggling your sword and then screaming, but I could be seeing things wrong.

I didn’t catch any of the fencing, although I wanted to. If you want to talk fast, they’re supposed to be showing some table tennis. I think it starts around the 13th or so. Badminton is also supposed to be on at some point. If you’ve never caught it at this level, I highly recommend it. It’s blazingly fast until the shuttlecock gets wedged between somebody’s racquet strings, and they have to stop play. The only bad thing about the olympics is I don’t want to record any of it it since they show like 6 and 8 hours at a time.
