No Longer Creative

I haven’t really created anything in a while. I think it is because all of my creative juices are being sucked up by Nathan. I say I haven’t created anything in a while, but I have created toys out of keys and made up a million songs out of everyday life. It seems like I can’t do anything these days without singing about it to the warm little drool monkey leaning against my shoulder.

But I am not complaining. I love having a son. It makes me smile like nothing in life every really has before. Everyday I am more in awe of the God who grants these good gifts to us and I am more humbled by the awesome responsibility of helping this little guy grow into a man of God.

So what if I am no longer creative. I think it is a fair trade.

Shane, I’m up a creek without a paddle then! So much for me trying to be creative in ministry. Dana and I have had 4 kids in 6.5 years of marriage. It’s over for me! Help!

(i’m surprised i could even think of something to post)
