You know I have been excited about non-traditional games lately. This week I downloaded a card game to print called Zombie Rally from rpgnow.com. I had a couple of guys from the youth group over to play today and it was fun. It was about the right pace and sensibility for a group of teenagers (and me for that matter). The main idea is that "unbeknownst to most living humans, zombies enjoy the competitive atmosphere of racing." It plays out as a race where you can knock the limbs off of your zombie competitors. Yeah, the premise isn’t exactly high brow, but like I said it was fun. The game is also well balance as we were all very close at the end. If you want to try a different type of board game and you think knocking the limbs off of zombies sounds like fun this could be the Christmas eve activity that you are looking for.
