One of them came!

One of the guys from my game last night came to church tonight! YEAH! He was one of the few (this is spring break). We only had 20 students there tonight, but that turned out to be a good thing. Since we had a hang-out time after church I got a chance to actually play some sort of game with everyone who was there. I have really been trying to get to know some of the people who I don’t see as much and tonight was a great opportunity.

I think I have created a monster with this role playing stuff. I now have a whole collection of middle school guys begging me to know when the next session. It is fun for me, but I don’t know when I can find the time to do this on a regular basis.

Anyway, for any of you who have thrown the 20 sided die in your life you need to check out. This is the 3rd in the series, but it is my favorite that I have read so far. It takes the idea of what if the people in RPG’s were real. If you have played these games before you will find it funny. If you haven’t then it probably isn’t for you. So for you I offer this: So a baby seal walks into a club… It still makes me smile.

Sorry to tell you this but even some parents of your youth read your blog. I just have to tell you never ever apologize for what you do or say out of your passion for God and trying to reach these youth for him. I hope I am saying this right where you truly understand that as long as the things you say and do are driven by our Lord never ever apologize. Your comments to Peyton were right but it doesn’t change what you said that we all have to stop letting things get in the way of reaching the youth of Eufaula especially petty things like a spot on the ceiling. They also have taken the youth house and they need to be willing to give a little. KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK!!!!!!

P.S. I read the blog because I like to get to know folks who hang out with my kids and sometimes it is harder to do in person.
