Piddling

Have you ever been fooling around on the internet–you know, just reading a few blogs, checking some email commenting on a couple of MySpace pictures–and looked down and realized that you had wasted an hour? I am hoping I am not the only person who has this problem.

I have been at the church past midnight for a couple of nights this week and I am glad to be finally done with those type things. I miss my house. Most of my free time these days has been spent on Creative Prayers as I try to get it ready for print. I have decided that it would benefit from 2 more weeks worth of material, but I used most of my creative ideas already. I have been trying to stimulate my thinking today by just walking around the house and trying to think about how each thing could be used to help someone pray. I have a couple of new ideas, but my creative brain just feels tired for some reason.

O well, that is about all that I have to say today. Maybe I will have something original tomorrow.

Nice to see you’re back. I read your poem "The Cost" – it is heart stopping. Can you imagine sacrificing yourself that way for another person? I’ve been reading Matthew a lot – especially Matthew 26:36-46 – where he asks God if he must take the cup – he could have stopped it, but he didn’t. Amazing that he oves us that much – I’m glad he does.
