Rejection Letter

I got a new rejection letter this week–this time from ZonderKids. It was in regards to my children’s book. I actually think this is a good thing. I now have someone interested in actually illustrating for me so maybe things can take a new turn. Of course I don’t think the whole thing is a total loss because I did get a chance to see what the ZonderKids rejection letter looks like. I am working on a file of all major Christian publisher rejection letters. It just seems like something a freelance writer should have.

Hang in there. The more rejections, the more likely there will be an acceptance.

Thanks. I actually for some weird reason consider rejection letters like badges of honor. My early stuff was published without much work on my part, so now I feel like I am a "real" working writer.
