Ship of Fools: Signs & Blunders

I saw a link to this from Tim’s blog and thought it was hilarious. The look on this guys face is one of sheer terror. If you have ever done much speaking in front of people you will have moments like this, but this might be the biggest one I have ever heard. I also know how it feels trying to get focus back after everyone starts laughing. It is worth the download. I would suggest right clicking and choosing "save as" and then watching it.

Ship of Fools: Signs & Blunders.

Pitch_tents_picYes, it’s that authentic "rabbit caught in the headlights" look. An expression of total disbelief and sheer terror recently crossed the face of Blake Bergstrom, a youth pastor at Southeast Christian Church in Parker, Colorado. In mid-sermon, he was describing what happened when the biblical character Lot pitched his tents too close to Sodom and Gomorrah when the mother of all sermon blunders fell from a clear blue sky.

I couldn’t help myself. I went to the site in the link, and right there to the left-hand side was a link to “Gadgets for God.” Oh. Oh my. I don’t even know where to begin…how about at the “Ten Plagues Finger Puppets”?

“This little boil went to market. This little locust stayed at home. And this little plague sneaks into bedrooms in the middle of the night and mercilessly smites children of your age – on purely racial grounds. Goodnight, darling. Sweet dreams.”

    Oh my.
