Short Weeks

It seems to be the trend these days to move the midweek meeting to Tuesday on the week of Thanksgiving. I am all for it because it gets me on the road sooner, but it also means that I have a short week. The thing is that I have a short week leading up to Tuesday and then a short week when we come back because I will be with my family until Sunday. Add to that a Lifeway deadline that keeps getting closer and closer and some videos that I should have already made for our church Christmas musical and I have a full plate.

Of course, since when have I not had a full plate.

Need some cheese to go with that whine? :)

Not the only profession to deal with short weeks you know, just the most important one. I worked in route sales for years and dreaded holidays because the same number of customers had to be visited, regardless.

    I’ll be praying for you.

This is the only time of the year that I wish I had a job where I get to put down work when I am on vacation. Taking a long weekend never helps me, the same work always has to get finished. But you can’t beat thanksgiving or this job so I guess I can’t complain. I sure do like to whine though. :)
