A few years ago I got hooked on this idea of performance poetry. These are poems that are written to be performed in front of an audience. I think my journey to poetry began when I saw Amena Brown on one of the webcasts of Passion performing her poem “You”. The English major in me jumped at the chance to produce this type of poetry. I have included most of the ones that I completed here. Some are better than others, but as always I hope that God can use them to help you share His truths with your community.
