Xdrive

I like pointing out random things that I find around the Internet. This weekend I needed a rather large file from someone and email just wasn’t sufficient. So I went looking for a different way of transferring it. What I found was Xdrive. I think it has something to do with AOL, but it has 5GB of free online storage.

I thought it was very cool. I would have loved to have something like that back when we were doing Winter Retreats. It would have been nice to set up a default storage location so everyone could go and grab what they needed. Anyway, this was just something I found and it helped me out so I thought I would share.

Very hand service. I’ve used ElephantDrive for a while – same type of idea (though less free storage – only 1 GB). I started to use the paid version because I downloaded he automatic backup program to protect all my files.
